AUTOCAD AND ORION STRUCTURAL BUILDING PACK

This course is made with a complete beginner in mind and it will help you learn AutoCAD and Orion Structural Engineering  right from the basics.

What’s in this course?

This course starts from scratch assuming you know nothing about AutoCAD whatsoever and it will gradually take you to all the basic, intermediate and advanced topics in a step by step way.

The course is project-based and video lessons are made with the practical application of tools and commands in mind. The course is primarily divided into three parts:

Part 1 is Practical video lessons that are based on real-world application of tools and commands.

Part 2 is Practice exercises related to modules with detailed video descriptions of answers.

Part 3 Orion Structural Design Package.

What Should you expect at the end of this course?

Once you are through this course you will be able to make your own drawings using simple and advanced tools of AutoCAD like polylines, arcs, circles and you will be able to fully dimension them as well as per drawing standards. You will also be well equipped to use drawing management tools like layers and you can make use of a ready-made set of symbols using a block library and external references.

Finally, you can also modify and print existing drawings using your own settings. So, in a nutshell, you will be able to use AutoCAD inside out once you are done with this course.

Who should enroll in this course?

If you are a civil, electrical, mechanical engineer, architect, woodworker, interior designer or hobbyist who just wants to learn the software from scratch then this course is for you.

Pre-requisites for the course

There are no pre-requisites for the course but you need to have access to AutoCAD and you will be given instrucction on how to get it.  The course is not compatible with AutoCAD Mac users. If you are a student you can get your free copy of your AutoCAD student license from Autodesk though you may need to check the eligibility first.
